I'd rather have an old car I can work on myself than one of the pieces of <deleted> they put out now that cost a fortune and have to be fixed by expensive garages with the diagnostic equipment.

The day they went computerisation was a sad day for commonsense and DIY.

 

And no ABS, seatbelt pre-tensioners, GPS, SatNav, ...

OBD2 code readers cheap - even have apps for your fone ...

But you need a smart fone, two old tomato cans and a piece of waxed string don't cut it.

I miss trundling  about  in my 1937 Austin 7. 

And  slip streaming it  behind a  big rig on the motorway in neutral. ????
