Go no further than Choochuay Hot Water Co Ltd, 30 Moo 1 Visitsongkram Road, where you will find a very tidy and professional workshop fabricating solar water systems under the Suntech banner. Their systems are very simple and efficient, thermosyphon, no pumps required. I got the 185 litre tank with 2x1m panel and backup immersion, 60,000 Baht installed and commissioned (last year). They can separate the tank and panel so the tank is inside the roof cavity. It works a treat - a seemingly inexhaustible supply of very hot water even in cloudy conditions. Backup system never used to date.
