Fighting aftermarket sound deadening with a scrapper, damn my hand hurts ????

rubber/tar traps moisture, coupled with some other reasons, left me a severely rusted trunk. Now trunk welded, commited to remove all sound deadening in my car

read you can simple freeze them then knock em off.

But where could I get some freezer spray?

I suppose spray 134a would do same? (but may damage environment ????)

also read about upside-down air duster could freeze, doubt about effectiveness though

Cheers

Yes it has been available here for at least 50 years (used for truck hauling of food between Bangkok and Takhli in 1969).  But admit have not needed since so not sure who sells.

I still think spray can would be more convient and safer.

I usually go to fast2fly at worajak for car chems, have some good stuff; but some quality of life thingie - like this freezer, or POR-15, or PB blaster, still difficult to find

pics for context:

The car rusted really bad that gas tank was falling off

LPG tank sits on the rubber-y mat, sometime during quick charge/discharge condensed water seaping through the mat, then trapped under

make things worse the trunk/tire well was drilled near ~20 holes to install audio, blings, LPG, etc.

I planned hammer new sheetmetal copying original tire well, but just remove sound deadening cost me 3 days. So I rushed the work simply join 2 cold roll plate at right angle.  (dunno if there's trouble for renew registration, a lpg car have lpg removed at home?)

now i really hate sound deadening ????

Freeze spray can be found at Amorn. Used in electronics. Sometimes even at Tesco/BigC

Dry Ice? Dairy queen if you order one or two Blizzards to go.
