Featured Replies

BTW, I mostly watch TV from the U.S., and noticed I've been seeing a lot of TV ads this week for the Heineken OO there on U.S. TV as well....  So it's not just a Thailand thing.

  • Alcohol-free beer is like a bra on the clothesline - the best is missing I once bought a 6-pack of non-alcoholic beer and paid by card. Shortly after, my bank called and asked if my card was stolen.

I like the taste of beer and tried many zero alcohol brews over the years, when I needed to drive - all extremely disappointing.   In the UK last year I tried the Heineken 00. It is pretty g

When Singha Light was 3.5% abv it had 30% less calories than the usual 5% abv beers.

Sorry to go off topic, but when we were teenagers we bought a friend alcohol free beer ( kaliber)
After 4 cans he was slurring his speech and acting drunk !
From that day onwards we called him the kaliber kid [emoji2]

I tried Kaliber a couple of times in the 1980's. It always gave me a terrible hangover.

I was amazed to find that it is made by Guinness - they should be ashamed.

Heineken 00 is not too bad (IMHO).

I have become a huge fan of this new beer from Heineken. I enjoy a beer maybe a bit too much so I had switched to swilling Lite beers, i.e. Singa or San Miguel. I gave the Heineken 0-0 a try and found that it tasted as good as those lite beers mentioned IMO so I have continued to enjoy it. Not so easy to find or nearly impossible to find in my favorite drinking holes in Chiang Mai. I have resorted to buy it by the case and only drinking it in my Condo.

Nothing about the price ???? My bet is that it will be more expensive than the normal beer ????

Two bar/cafes in this town sell it, one does a 330 ml bottle for 70 baht, the other a 330 ml can for 50.

Not seen it in a supermarket or 7eleven yet.

I go to a bar in CM that has something like 400 beers.  They don't have Heineken 0% but they do have a Bavaria 0% that I like.  Even though it is named Bavaria, it is a Dutch beer.
