And if so how did you prove the money came from abroad?

As far as this new requirement to return with your passbook three months later is concerned, it's daft, many people won't be in the country for whatever reason when that date rolls around. Are the RTP so incapable of thinking things through that they can't see this beforehand?

Probably part of the reason BJ was turfed out. More pointless work for immigration and no extra staff

Are you incapable of thinking that in such case they will accept that you bring them your passbook only when you come back in Thailand? I don't see how it could be a problem.

It's a pointless requirement when these checks could be carried out on the annual renewal
