Hi Guys,

Still searching for a replacement for my PCX. Currently riding the wife's Honda Wave and with the bigger wheels, the rough roads in my area are a little bit more bearable.

I still want to get the Yamaha Aerox, but now I am wondering will the gas shocks on the R model make my ride harder or softer. The PCX has the YSS stiff shocks and I felt every bump. The wife's wave ( bigger tyres I know) has stiff shocks and seems to handle the bumps better.

Still haven't got to ride one yet, but will the Aerox R give me a smoother ride with the air shocks or not ? Should I go for the standard model or the ABS with standard fitted shocks?

Confused, so any opinions are very much appreciated.

Roads in Thailand you want your suspension as soft as possible, if no adjustment,  shocks can be messed with but I don't bother just run the tyres 3 psi less than recommended.

Go with ABS model, if money no issue, or standard model, unless you are very heavy, or normally carry passenger you don't need the R version, you can always add YSS shocks later if you want....
