connection problems

Featured Replies

I get internet from a true aircard. It's always worked fine but having problems now.

It will work ok for awhile, then I keep getting "This site can't be reached".  It says not connected to the internet, but when I click onto the internet icon, it says, connected.

Is it more likely a problem with my laptop or the aircard?

More likely you have exceeded the paid for data allowance and the speed has been reduced to dial-up rate!

Over the last 24 hours there seem to be intermittent problems with connections to websites outside Thailand. that may be your problem

Sounds like it could be a DNS issue.

You may be able to re-configure the aircard using its web interface to use your own (Google or OpenDNS) DNS settings.

Assuming you're able, can you determine your current default DNS settings? Can you ping the website? Maybe try the raw IP instead of the URL?

It's been going on for a few weeks now. When windows 10 tries to diagnose the problem, they mention a DNS problem. I think mtls2005 is probably right, but it's over my head. I'll look around and see what I can find.

Thanks
