Hi looking for a 1 bed apartment in the Kaosarn rd & nearby area for around a month to start with. Any sensible suggestions appreciated.

Don't think you'll have much luck finding a 1 month rental anywhere.

If its' only a month get a hotel/gh for a couple of nights and then stroll

up and down Rambuttri (quieter than KSR) and ask about monthly rates.

Rambuttri Village Inn is cheap (400b for an air-con closet with TV) for

a start but they seem to be very busy so a res would be an idea.

I agree with Farangsays post above as most apartments in the Khaosan road area require minmum 3-6 month contracts.

Check into a hotel for a few days and have a look around ... Banglampu place on Thanon Prasumen near Pizza Hut may have 1 month rentals and M N appartments on Samsen soi 5 may have also.

The Nakorn Pink hotel on Samsen soi 6 is 300 baht a night with fan and TV.

Thanks everyone for your replies. Its as I thought, too short a period but your info gives me a start.

I am also going to need wireless internet or at least a connection of some sort. Do these places you have suggested have either?
