The only reason I beat FJ was he had 4 players DNP. If he could have accessed the system he would have thrashed me.

Well Trend Setters

Gazman and Uncle Alex both tipped 6 this week, with Uncle

getting the Milky Bars due to the margin.

Scea is on top of the ladder liked his beloved Power.

Well done boys.

That's it for another week from the hub.

Well done Uncle! 6/9 and the margin for this week's winner! ????

COuple of close games this round.

Sydney started out slow and error riddled but came back after quarter time. The boys dont look finals material but they arent giving up in the game which bodes well for the future'.
Aliir and Mills made a few mistakes which could have been the difference in the end

I reckon the MRP is the biggest blight on the game.

Is there anyone out there who reckons, that going by the guidelines, this shouldn't be a suspension?

Farmer P.M me hes tips, tipped 5 and would be sitting in same position with 11 tips depending on what margin he would have taken

The Match review has had issues for quite a while, as has the Goal reviews.

Im not sure if we will see any different than we have now given teh same people are administering it.

Looking at that vision, surely that is an automatic 1 week suspension?  We can only guess at how this was influenced behind the scenes

I had a quick squizz at this weeks games and there are some dilemmas for sure given the form from last week.

WIll Richmond come out limp or come out firing? Hawthorn to win one? ????

Why is Collingwood rates red hot favourites against St Kilda , given their performance last week? (betting is $3.00 to Collingwood $1.40) ????

GWS...Jeez, they are made to look like muppets against North and now they play the BraveDogs. Tough to pick to be honest.

Brissie V West Coast.  Has the possibility to be game of the round... but given the Weagles insipid performance last week.. well!????

North V Swans. Who would have thought North would be looking contenders this year?  Not me! I'll reserve judgement, but the team is looking like a case of pick the right coach and you get results. Still would have loved to see Sydney's Stiff neck coach Johnny L have stepped down and Shaw be given the role.

Cant see Sydney winning at this stage of the week , based on last weeks performance. Effort was there last week but they don't have the experienced players and possibly not the talent. Judgement reserved

So in conclusion... I can see the first 5 games of the round being a chance to go either way  ????

Pretty sure Burgoyne got the "good bloke" discount.

The same as Ablett last year.

Toby Greene would've gotten time methinks.

What about in 2010 when Judd was Brownlow favourite?

Opened up the Big Pavlova with an elbow.

Pav comes off bleeding and has to be stitched up.

AFL deemed it to be insufficient force to constitute a report:dry:

The MRP is modeled loosely on a criminal court, so Silk's cleanish record must be considered a factor.   As for Greene's rap-sheet........WELL THEN!!!!

In Judd's defence, Pavlova's huge snout would have been a target hard to miss.

This seems to be how it goes.

It would be better IMO to treat each incident without reference to previous incidents. A bad tackle or elbow to the face should be seen as a suspension regardless of circumstances.

I'm pretty sure previous incidents and the players history are not taken into account anymore.

There shouldn't be a rule for one and another rules for others but we know that's not how it works.

Big upset from Hawks last night. Shame i didn't back myself in the tipping.  oh dear me..

On other news...for those that missed Kane Cornes smack piece on Adelaide and Mark Riccutio.

https://www.afl.com.au/news/454159/barrett-why-ricciuto-must-go-after-latest-crow-brand-damage-

Also the salaries those players were on at Adelaide or offered elsewhere

https://www.afl.com.au/news/454131/-he-s-a-500k-player-ricciuto-defends-decision-to-let-stars-go

But certain phrases, including "very happy for him to go" (Jenkins), "comfortable" (to lose McGovern), "very comfortable" in losing Lever, and "it was our call … he's not in our next premiership side" (Greenwood) were condescending.

Of the exits, Cameron, McGovern, Betts and Jenkins were contracted Crows at the time of their departures.

"Jake Lever got a five-year deal (at Melbourne) on $800-850,000 (per season). (I'm) very comfortable we let him go on that money," Riccuito told Triple M.

"He's probably a $500,000 player.

"Charlie Cameron was one we didn't want to lose. One of few we weren't happy to let go.

"He got a very, very good contract from Brisbane who were down the bottom of the ladder and had money in their salary cap. (We) couldn't match that.

"When you're at the top of the ladder and your salary cap is chock-a-block, you haven't got much room to move do you? If you pay someone overs or a massive amount of money, then it means you need to lose someone else."

EDDIE BETTS

"We needed to get some youth into our side. He's 33, we were comfort able for him to go. That's not a request to leave (to Carlton), that was a mutual agreement."

JOSH JENKINS

"(We were) very happy for him to go (to Geelong). Once again, age in our forward line. We needed to get some youth into our forward line. Very comfortable, we're even paying part of his contract. Same with Eddie Betts."

HUGH GREENWOOD

"That was probably more our call (move to Gold Coast on a four-year deal). Everyone says we've got the slowest midfield in the competition; you can't just keep having those players in your midfield then whinge you've got a slow midfield. He's 28 this year and not going to play in our next premiership side so we're trying to get draft picks in to rebuild."

ALEX KEATH

"Alex Keath got offered a massive amount of money to go to Western Bulldogs. Like a large amount of money, more than double what he was on at Adelaide. That's what he wanted. If we had have kept him, we would've lost more players."

Don't see anything wrong with it TBH.

Club is under siege. Roo was asked a quest by James Brayshaw and had the minerals to answer it truthfully. I wouldn't be upset about that if I was a Crows supporter.

The media is always screaming out to get more information from clubs and when someone put's their head up, they want to shoot it off.

Well it's getting bloody ridiculous.  Now the leftard nuffies are calling for the banning of the Collingwood, Carlton and St Kilda club songs.  Apparently the music and some lyrics date back to slave trade on the cotton fields of the U.S South.

A few inner city Latte sipping white indigenous people have found them to be extremely offensive to blacks who are still suffering the pain of their ancestors.  Can't see Eddie rolling over and changing the Collingwood theme song.

Shhhhh.  Don't give them ideas.  I can see them reading your post and saying, yea that's a good one let's ban Cooney.  They have already called for the family name Coon to be taken off cheese.  But seriously how many indigenous players have sung the club theme songs with pride after winning a game and thought nothing of it.  It's these white lefty 2% indigenous who are stirring the pot

Gee gang

Tonight's game is a real hard one to tip IMO.

Josh Kelly another late out to go with Toby Greene.

I'm not sure GWS have a great record in Melbourne and you'd think the Bulldogs are

due to bounce back after the week they've had.

Oh well, just hope it's a good game.
