How do you explain the Wakefield Trinity?

It must be very comforting to think that when you die you will be reunited with your loved ones and sit down with Jesus, mind you it must be very crowded around him as so many people die every day. Lets face it since time began there has been religion ,from worshiping the moon ,and the likes of Odin up untill The one God was thought up. Still it kept the people under control i reckon.

Popular Post VincentRJ
1 hour ago, mauGR1 said: So, who is controlling people now ? ???? There's a new religion. It's called 'Catastrophic Anthropogenic Global Warming', or CAGW for short. In other words, if we don't eliminate our use of fossil fuels, which have been the basis of our progress and development for the past 150 years, our civilizations will be destroyed by catastrophic changes in climate, resulting from unprecedented floods, droughts and hurricanes, which will be driven by increases in atmospheric CO2 levels from 0.0286 % to 0.045 %, which it is claimed has occurred during the past 150 years or more as a result of the burning of fossils fuels. Of course, this new religion of CAGW has to be supported, promoted, and enforced by the wealthy and powerful, as do most religions. Those who are wealthy can afford to buy multi-million-dollar homes by the beach, regardless of possible sea-level rises, and if the price of energy rises as a result of terribly inefficient windmills, it won't be of much concern to the wealthy who are probably the ones who are selling that expensive energy and making a significant profit. However, I'm pleased that the methods of promoting and enforcing this new religion are not as bad as the situation in the past when those who questioned the authority of the priests, or the validity of the biblical texts, were horribly tortured, drowned, or burned alive. Nowadays, if a scientist questions the fictitious consensus that CO2 is a bad pollutant which will catastrophically harm the environment, the worst that will happen to him is probably the loss of his job and/or the loss of government funding to continue his research.

Science is slowly, very slowly pointing out the silliness of a GOD, especially Christian beliefs. So they come up with other ways to control people's lives, lifestyles. Now the controlling elite, control all aspects of gov'ts, media, news, to brainwash the sheep into believing what ever they what. They've dumbed down & distracted the sheeple to a point of no free thinking seems to be possible. Mind boggling. Covid simply proved how easy it is to make the masses cower & comply to unrealistic fear of dying from a virus with a 97-99.9% recovery rate, depending where you live. Cancer patients wished they had those odds of survival. 2

What you say about Islam is quite debatable, so excuse me if i play "devil's advocate " just a bit.. Were "Christians " successful in bringing democracy in places like Afghanistan, or other countries in the middle east ? Of course you can put all the blame on the natives, but that would be very much debatable too.
Fat is a type of crazy
I think Australian Rules football makes the most sense. Pick it up and kick or hand pass back, forward, wherever, catch it, it is the best game. For the climate change, and taking action on covid, skeptics - to me you are like religious types, who stick with a certain premise, and work from there. Clearly the scientific evidence is that climate change is real and having significant effects and that the effect of covid required significant action to limit deaths. By all means differ on the action required, or what you are willing to put up with, but the science is in. If you are a good scientist, who can come up with the facts against the status quo, sure ... it might be a bit difficult, but there are enough good and smart people to change the scientific premise, if appropriate. Most who deny the above are not scientists but tedious media commentators and similar, with their own nonscientific agenda, in my opinion. Neeranam
A few years ago, I bumped into a stranger who suggested I buy bitcoin. I had some extra cash and did exactly that. This has changed my life in ways I could never have imagined. 20 years ago, I met a stranger who suggested I go to AA, this has changed my life beyond my wildest dreams. 28 years ago in India, I saw God ???? NO doubt in my mind about the existence of God. 2

I certainly believe climate is changing, but I don't believe humans can change it to anything else no matter how rich we make Elon with his silly cars. Gaia ( God ) will do whatever Gaia wants to do, even if that's exterminating humans because we have behaved too badly and destroyed the environment. 1
