Water Pump Outlet Question

Featured Replies

I have a Mitsubishi tankless water pump that I need to reinstall.

It seems to have two outlets, one that is currently in use and one that is blanked off.

Are these interchangeable? Right now, the outlet flows perpendicular to the inlet flow, and I would like to reconfigure it such that it the outlet flow is parallel to the inlet flow.

Any problem with this?

Would be better if you provided a picture or a model number for reference so you dont get bad info

No problem, just change the outlet that is blanked off. You can use either one.

That’s what I was thinking, but was not sure is one was HPLV and the other LPHV or some other difference.

Have you actually done it?

Looks like this, could not find the model number...

The in and outs are 1 1/4”

I've taken off the blanking plug just for interest, no difference or possibly differences between them.
