Just fixed laptop

I think the problem was a Thai installed Win 10 that was pro but the license was home single language.  I did a restore and then bought a pro license from some guy in the UK for a couple of dollars and upgraded the bios and the drivers from the manufacturers website and everything is fine.

I mention it because there have been a number of questions about getting lap tops working again.

I flashed the bios for the latest and now it just races along.  Boots in 30 sec and everything is quick and wife is very happy.

I bought it new.  Asus.  Always slow.  So one day my messing around stopped it from booting so I did a restore and erased the whole darn thing.  I was going to put in an SSD drive but now it's fast enough as is.  So my total expenditure was a win 10 pro key.

You're really lucky. It took my sister two hours to do it. I don't know what she went through.
