A video showed locals and rescue foundation officials working frantically to rescue a Thai woman and her two year old niece from the wreckage of a pick-up.

Patcharaporn, 48, had been taking Phatnaree, aged just 2, in her Nissan Navara along the Sega to Huay Phakkha Road in Bueng Kan province in Thailand's north-east.

She said that she hit a tree after suffering what seemed to be a fainting fit. The vehicle rolled three times and the occupants were trapped inside.

Rescuers took twenty minutes to free them. The little girl had a broken left leg.

The aunt had facial and body injuries.

Amarin TV called it a miracle escape from death.

Both victims were taken to hospital.

If this continues, there wont be any trees left in Thailand.

I hope the little one survives, looks horrible.

...medically fit drivers?

Seems as if driving without a license. Just borrowed the car from husband.
