What is your budget.. 2 br at some of the more western populated areas could hit 70k per month pretty easily... it is almost always the square meters that count..

You want to have the kitchen and beds "preferably" in different rooms? Have you ever stayed in an apartment where the kitchen and bed were next to each other?

The Oakwood Residences at Sukhumvit 24
near Emporium shopping centre.
There are different sizes with kitchen and washing/drying machine. Near BTS.
I lived there for a few months till I found my present accommodation.

Big fan of BU Place on soi 3 ratchadapisek, not in the tourist zone so tons of great street food and restaurants, but close to subway, and the big malls, fitness etc.
