Skateboards in a mall

Featured Replies

Do Thai malls allow you to walk around with a skateboard or longboard? I plan on getting a longboard so am curious what to do with it at my destination

Why would you not be allowed to walk around with one ??

If you bought one in a mall, how would you get it out, if not allowed to walk around with it !!

I saw a GoFundMe type Farang with dreadlocks skateboard inside the mall.

Could be seen as a weapon.

In 5 years here I don't think I've seen anyone take one in a mall before

My wife could be seen as a weapon but she's allowed in the mall

'Khun Leung' on door security has nothing to do all day, so the chance to tell someone they can't bring a skateboard into his mall will be irresistible.

I have a longboard, and I strap it to a rucksack (board rucksack with board carrying straps) before taking it on BTS or in to malls.  That makes it clear you're not planning to skate in the mall.

Then don't make eye contact with K. Leung as you walk in, and he'll lose interest.
