Of the things I miss about being back in the states

Coming to the LOS  was a big deciscion for me,

a big leap into uncharted waters.

There is no way I'd ever have done so if my wife had come from a different country.  It never ever would have come up.

I am becoming accustomed to the way things are here, and have come to realize that there are certain things I do not miss.  One of the things I dont miss is the terrible rap music that thumps from the vehicles in town.

Back in the states,  it is really common to be able to feel the bass rumble from the vehicles on the boulevard.   Blasting out obscene and vulgar lyrics to a drone that consists of 2 to 3 notes.  It sounds like somebody kicking an oil drum that spouts off about hoes and naggers and voilence etc.   I just do not miss it at all.

Sometimes I hear some traditional thai music,  but it doesn't bother me at all.  I mean,  in Thailand,  traditional thai music is appropriate.

Agree, traditional music is more agreable. I heard a Thai rap song on TV the other day, horrible. How anyone could like that boggles my mind????

Plus they use the loud rap bouncing around neighborhoods to cover breaking & entering, car thefts, etc...Mayhem & violence in general promoted by arrogant ignorance & hate lyrics....

Don't miss it a bit....

I've been here about 8 times each for 4 -6 weeks.   Now I am "here" here.

I don’t miss the people that play the rap music. You don’t see any of them in Issan and that’s okay with me.

we all know what u mean.  Thai is much better country when "wanna be gangsters" are not here.   But there is a lot of NOISE pollution from EVERYTHING.

Don't go near any temple fair and their music on volume 11.

After that you will appreciate the high quality rap music. ????
