I am in Pattaya for first time in few years this Saturday and Sunday. Where are the best places for live Farangish music?

There is a big festival at Mapbrachan Lake on Saturday. Lam Morrison amongst others. 500 Baht entrance fee.

The problem with venues like this is that you have to drive, which means you can not drink, or risk the BiB stopping you.

The Loft, where this event is being held, has a free pick up service. In addition, Sandbar restaurant on Dongtan Beach, Jomtien, has regular good music.

Didn't think he'd still be alive. No, thanks, not my type of music. But thanks for the info.

I was looking for bars & pubs which have bands on.

Rolling Live on Soi 8.

Pop into Sailor bar for some cheap "refreshers" first - Saturday I think they have a lady boy show at 8 or 9pm which can be amusing.

Rolling Live after 10.30 is very loud but generally a great atmosphere.

I simply asked where there were any bars or pubs with ANY live music.

I do not want to drive to Maprachan Lake to listen to copies of Hendrix & P Floyd at horrendous volume.
