A little heads up.

Trump is proposing the closure of USCIS offices overseas.

This means the ending of the so called, Direct Consular Filing for US citizens who are petitioning for their wife to enter the United States.

The ability to pursue an application in Bangkok, has in the past enabled a highly expedited process for any US citizen who was resident in Thailand and planning to repatriate with their partner.

Going forward it looks like all petitions will have to be submitted in the US, greatly extending the time, and I mean GREATLY, extending the time it takes!

So, if anyone in Thailand is contemplating doing this, now would be the time
