 A remainer will surely reply that the U.K could veto any such proposal, which theoretically is correct. But we all know it’s where the E.U is heading. Remember in 1975 we voted yes in a referendum to join a trading block,EEC. And at that time we were assured that there would be no attempt to transform it into a political union,as it is today.

The figure was  350M , but we got a rebate , which means we paid 250 M
I'm quite sure that a Lawyer could argue that the 350M was correct

 When will they look into the statements by Edward Heath and cronies, who in the run up to the 1975 referendum, categorically stated that their was no chance of the EEC being transformed into a political Union. And right up to the present day when the majority of M.P’s voted to respect the 2016 referendum.
  And why is this announcement made, just after Johnson declares his intention to stand for the leadership of the Conservative party, while another investigation into antiSemitism in the Labour Party is delayed until After the E.U elections.

Although the figures are wrong (350 M etc), I do take the point from Sanemax that this wasn't the only thing (lie) to swing things in favor of leave. The Turkish invasion was another, the EU make all our laws etc etc etc. However for me probably the biggest influence was the Daily Rabies (Mail, Sun and Express) fighting a long long campaign to demonize immigrants. Paul Dacre should be hung drawn and quartered. 

 

Boris should arguably be horsewhipped, but you can't practically lock politicians up for lying. Lord Carrington was the last to resign on a matter of principle, today's politicians don't bother with principles.

As Ian Duncan-Smith has quite correctly pointed out, why have they not attempted to prosecute him, for repeating the slogan. Could it possible be because he is not a contender for the leadership of the Labour Party, while Johnson is.

 And then of course no prosecution of those remainers who lied during and after the people’s referendum. It is quite obviouse that the establishment and their puppets are trying,and it would seem,being very successful in undermining what remains of British Democracy.
