I went for a drive down the Rawai speedway and it looks like things are improving a bit for Rawai by Rawai Hardware.  That noisy late night POS ( that's not the name, that's what is was) pub run by the cop shop has been demolished, and right next to it a new petrol station looks to be opening soon.  That will relieve the long queues at lemon gas.

Petrol station is open.

So where is the racket coming from that I can hear right now, and heard last night?

It is coming from the same direction as that defunct green monstrosity that has gone.

Yes - just had a look. Maybe signifying the death throes of the museum? Can't remember if it was on there last year - the green monstrosity would've masked its racket.

I think this is already the 3rd time in 6 months or so there is a fair there. My kids love it, but I don't see many visitors.
