For example for Costa Rica and Colombia.   The policy is 'no visa required for Thai citizens who also are holders of US visas.'   The question is, has anyone here had any issues (in the above countries or in other countries with similar 'no visa required if also holding a valid US or Schengen visa' policies) in cases where the visa is in an expired Thai passport?    The US policy is of course simply present the expired Thai passport with valid US visa along with the current valid Thai passport.

Will end up doing that.   Still in the shopping stage for the holiday in question though and the visa issue of course takes the back seat to the actual destinations, but it's a nice convenience if everyone in our party didn't have to get a visa for as few ports of call as possible.

Thought there would be more people who have experienced this first hand with Thai friends or family in the same situation.
