Hello,

I am traveling internationally for the first time from the U.S.   But I am disabled and, unfortunately, the beijing airport seized the battery for my electric wheelchair during my layover.  Thus I find myself in Bangkok basically stranded in my room until I find a place that can rent and deliver an electric chair or scooter.  But I am a bit overwhelmed with the language barrier and finding out who I need to contact to make this happen.

Anyone have suggestion on how to proceed?

Thank you!

There is a place on the south motorway exiting Bangkok towards Pattaya that sells and services golf carts etc, you can see the shop elevated above the road
Maybe just maybe they would have the parts you need or the chair even

Hoping that this may trigger someone closer who could identify the shop for you to be able to make contact.......

Thanks brokenbone :).  Me too.  I will say the employees at the BKK airport were sympathetic and helpful whereas it was the complete opposite at the Beijing (PEK) airport.  I live in Atlanta so I have been spoiled by the world's largest airport.  They have a partnership with a medical supply chain so any issues I have had previously in the U.S. would normally have them providing an alternative via a loaner while their contracted supplier fixes the chair.
