madjbs Posted March 17, 2007 Posted March 17, 2007 I know the pickup thing has been done to death but mostly on the newer models such as the vigo, triton etc.. Which sadly I cant afford. I have around 320,000 to spend and have found my choices are probably: 1. Mitsubishi Strada 4 door 2003 300,000bht 2. Ford Ranger/ Mazda Fighter Open Cab 2004 350,000bht 3. Toyota Tiger non D4D spacecab 2000 320,000bht 4 Nissan Big M 2.7Di 2004 350,000bht What do you think the best choice would be taking into account fuel economy, reliability, performance etc.. Or can you think of a better option? Thanks Jake
bingo2 Posted March 17, 2007 Posted March 17, 2007 Jake I have a 11 month old mazda 2500 fighter 4 doors manuel 20,000km full power mags ins and tax paid for 1 year 370,000 bt excellent condition.
madjbs Posted March 17, 2007 Author Posted March 17, 2007 That sounds good but I probably wont be able to buy anything for a month or so. Where are you bassed and why are you selling? Thanks Jake
Moonfruit Posted March 17, 2007 Posted March 17, 2007 Mitsubishi drives like a bus. Toyota Tiger drives nicely, but the SR5 engine seriously lacks power. I have no experience with the Nissan. I have a 2002 Ranger, and it goes very well, and ive had no problems with it at all, despite it being on the road 12 hours a day every day in the hands of my staff who arent too carefull. (Im guessing you are talking about the 4x4 models as the prices you are quoting are rather high for the 2x4's)

katom Posted March 18, 2007 Posted March 18, 2007 I also think between (little bit different I know....) Toyota Altis to Toyota sport-rider. The thing is I dont know what cheaper to take care..(taking of the gas cost as I will not drive with it too much.. less then 30K a year. Insurance cost?yearly tax cost?parts when something broken.. I have no clue.. Maybe ur advice guys will help me..
