good lord, i weigh usually between 63-65. 67 on a very bad week.

200 kg on a scooter!

Shocking indeed. But I cannot help it.

120kg for me and 80kg for my wife. Plus the shopping items. This whole thread is about the possibility to move that all safely on a scooter and the consensus was "Yes". From what I see in the streets this seems indeed feasible using a 300cc and exchange the shockers for something more weight supporting.

Does your daughter plan to ride further distances? If not, the Yamaha Grand Filano ABS should be fine.

My daughter and myself will have a look at the Grand Filano. Thanks. Personally I think it is always good to have some storage space without having to wear a Rucksack. My wife and myself did ride a Suzuki Burgman 125 in Switzerland (when we were still slimmer as now), and this one had huge storage capacity. Absolutely suitable for shopping.

Thank you very much. Looks like the back suspension (there are no shockers, only a swing) cannot be exchanged for something more weight supporting. The seat height is 795 mm, I guess no chance that my wife, 148 cm tall, could ride it safely.

Sadly, Nmax for daughter not feasible, cannot wait for the 2020 model.

Maybe need indeed to wait for the new NMax and find some transport solution for in between. This is such a shame that the PCX does not offer ABS while even being more expensive. Generally I am always surprized with what the design teams come up. They constantly miss it to produce a bike with all desirable features (like ABS, low seating position, large storage space, max. possible power etc. etc.).

There are aftermarket shocks for the Xmax. Not sure about available spring rates.  https://bikerzbits.com/yss/yamaha/xmax-300-shock-absorbers/
