and brighten up the paint work on my truck, seen some at Big C,

small bottle ,high price, also anyone seen any STP diesel injector

cleaner, diesel additive,I used to buy it in Amorn and local supermarket

used to stock it, but no more, plenty RedX, but found the STP

If you tell us where you live you might get more replies.

Right STP injector cleaner can be obtained from Amazon. Sorry don't know cost. Most Toyo and other main dealer garages sell Inj: cleaner.

Most car shops will sell a good rubbing compound. Just don't forget to wax after.

To save you doing it yourself any good car valeting places will do for a small cost. My local one charges me 500bt for a full valet (that includes engine and under body) and a wax. Takes around 3 hours.

I think you are looking at the wrong solution here.

 Firstly your car wants claying.

Secondly your car needs a chemical clean it is not a good idea to compound unless necessary

Go to a shop and get it done properly.  Depending on where you live I may be able to recommend someone .

I had my wife’s two-year-old white colored Honda Civic cleaned before we sold it ... it looked stunning after cleaning.

I guess if it is just an old truck and you want to save money and any fine compound will do.  Don’t buy a scratch remover

Can you tell me where to make a car look like new in Bangkok or Pattaya ? They seem to all be idiots knowing nothing...

Thank you for your help.

I suggest you phone Tony first to see what time he will be there.

The place is always staffed but he isn't as he arrives about 10-10:30 I think...

I've PM'd you his phone number

PS ... don't miss the entrance as you will drive quite someway to get back there .....

Cleaning injectors... proper way is to remove them for cleaning. Avoid fuel additives as some are corrosive and cause engine wear.

Rubbing compounds... there are abrasive grades of these. Try T Cut which removes the film of grime without being too abrasive. Then polish.

Another good product is silicone wax rubbing compound which does 2 in one.

Avoid the highly abrasive types and ladyboys who only want to polish your knob.

I agree that it's ridiculous to believe that any fuel additive will clean anything.

They are just made for idiots who believe in this BS.

Rubbing compound is highly abrasive. Used for fixing paintwork issues. Tcut is ok, but seen as rather old fashioned now and the amonia smell will stay on your hands for days. Clay bar or Farecla G3 Advanced Liquid Compound.
