orang37 Posted August 6, 2019 Posted August 6, 2019 Anyone else seeing consistent download errors involving the internal use of 'mkdir ? Note: independent of using VPN with a P2P server; independent of running the app as 'admin. These errors did not occur with previous versions, and there's been no update of Win 10/64 1903 since using those previous versions. thanks, ~o:37;
WorriedNoodle Posted August 7, 2019 Posted August 7, 2019 What's BBB? I'm using qBittorrent 64 bit 4.1.7 on Win10 1903 no issues. 1
orang37 Posted August 8, 2019 Author Posted August 8, 2019 The problem here turned out to be related to recent some update of Windows Defender: WD was blocking the app, although no error message, or notification, of this was ever shown wither by WD or by qBittorrent. Changed the AV software to EmsiSoft, replacing WD, and when EmsiSoft put up a waning on qB, chose to allow whatever behavior was flagged. ~o:37;
WorriedNoodle Posted August 8, 2019 Posted August 8, 2019 OK, it works again! I'm using Windows Security that comes with Win10 and it runs as per previous version of qBittorrent.
