BANGKOK (NNT) - The Prime Minister and Defense Minister, Gen. Prayut Chan-o-cha, has presented the government policy to a group of executives, stressing that the policy will integrate the work of related agencies, take workforces and their work plans into consideration, and serve the interests of the people and the nation.

Gen. Prayut chaired a meeting to present the government policy to the executives at IMPACT Forum, Muang Thong Thani, Nonthaburi province. He said the policy will promote cooperation from all sectors. If everyone acts in the interests of the country, everything will move forward and achieve its objectives. All ministries should focus on creating a better understanding with the public and promote cooperation in all areas.

The Prime Minister asked the general public to give time for the cabinet ministers to perform their duties. He also expressed his satisfaction to work with the new cabinet members because they are determined to work for the people. He called on all sides, including the coalition parties and the opposition, to work in the best interests of the nation.

The Prime Minister said the government will now take people’s opinions and demands into account. He said the government will listen to all sides on the issue of constitutional amendment, but it must not lead to conflict in the country.

Conflict being defined as not sucking up to the exalted 'Minister of all Ministers'...at every opportunity.

More blab followed by inaction. He runs an incompetent administration. There will be little or nothing to show for his words.

Ineffectiveness and incapacity is his trademark. He has a long track record of failed and broken promises; we all know what they are.

People don't refer to him as Pinocchio for no reason.

He works for the people alright, those who own over 60% of Thailand.  He is a tireless windbag whose only triumph is sorting out deck chairs on some beach.   He speaks in lazy generalities and his xenophobia allows most of his more nimble minded neighbors to blow by Thailand.

I had forgotten about the deckchairs...

... another thing to add to the achievements of the administration.

Says the man who recently made the tacit admission that he ended his oath statement as PM before saying he would protect the constitution. https://forum.thaivisa.com/topic/1116600-prayut-makes-tacit-admission-of-failure-to-utter-proper-oath-before-taking-office/?utm_source=newsletter-20190808-1235&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=news

And in fact Prayut did violate the 2007 Constitution articles to Protect the Constitution by abolishing it.

So his "must not lead to conflict in the country" is just empty rhetoric.

I love his jokes, though this one make people choking.

How to eradicate the "me first" mentality?
