Motorcycle Leather repairs

Featured Replies

I live in BKK ( Suan Luang ) - I need to replace the elastic on my two piece Sidi Leathers - the elastic in the waist on the pants has lost its elasticity - i have checked a couple of generic leather repair shops and they have narrow 5mm elastic - but the band on the leathers is about 40 - 50 mm .  Does anyone know of shops or repair business that are specialists in repairs to leathers?

Thanks in advance

I used to (Rama 4). But now gone.

I think any shop will have the same problem. I think you will need to find the elastic first.

in Ramkhamhaeng between Soi 68 and 66 is a Motorcycle Shop, he can do this.

Can't recall the exact place (and the contact may not be the same)  but the area sounds correct. They outsource to a third party that is good at lateral thinking. Had seats and door cards redone in that area a while back. Not cheap though if you expect (and receive) a quality service.

Cheap is available if you want it. Take the time to look around there.
