Route Through Bangkok to Pattaya

Featured Replies

Sorry but it is time for another motorcycle trip through Bangkok from Hua Hin to Pattaya. It has been three years since I did it.

I think I know what bridges I can cross, I just need to know what roads are open for motorcycles.

I really don't want to get sucked into the expressway entrance like last year.

A Google maps route would be great.

can i use highway 7?

thanks

P.S. I really need to get out of Hua Hin.  It is so boring here. Please dear god.

What will they do without you in Hua Hin?  Turn the lights off until you get back?  ????

NCC1701A why do you need to get out of Hua Hin?

Maybe because you have lost your sex god image:cheesy:

Or as you are getting older, you are struggling to rise to the occasion.????

I used Bangna Trad about a year ago. I hated it. Lots of big trucks. It feels like a death trap.

it was amazing. the very first one i talked to in Pattaya said she loves me. what could be better than that?

no one loves me in Hua Hin any more. I think the women in Hua Hin have one of those closed Facebook groups where they exchange photos of "bad man". "Look at him. he bad. many girlfriends. lie man."

just goes to show how wrong some people can be. :cheesy:

yes Hua Hin. I will walk the whole way it I have to.

Highway 3 (Bangna Trad) the old Sukhumvit Road is your only route on a bike, better off on ferry!

I suggest let us know when you finished the trip what you liked and what not.

I go Hwy 3 to Bangkok, then cross on the King Bhumibol bridge, then 35 and 4 to Hua Hin. You aren't supposed to cross King Bhumibol bridge on a motorcycle but I've never been fined and every time that I go I see other motorcycles doing the same thing.

You'll know when NCC1701A has visited Pattaya - because all the bargirls on soi 6 will be walking like 'Yosemite Sam', "very sore"

All of them?

The last time I was in that soi was many years ago. I didn't notice that the girls walk different after the BJ. ????

OK. this looks like a possibility. thanks

Just stay on the expressway service road.  Or you could take sukhumvit along the coast.  The expressway road has a lot of traffic and you will need to pay attention but that is the key to driving in thailand...  passive aggressive defensive driving lol... i have done the bangna route a few times... set your map search to exclude toll roads you cannot go on the 7...

Bangna Trat  number 2 highway to Ferry at Phrapadeng  to Suksawat road  then  highway 3 to Prattaya , its easier than the bridges if u dont want hassle about cops ,,,,20bt for the ferry ,,
