taytee Posted August 30, 2019 Posted August 30, 2019 Ive had the fibre optic 3bb for a few years now but recently im wanting to stream in home, but after talking with techs about the software i want to use they said my router is terrible for doing this and I have a lot of lag. The issue is in the router configuration it doesnt seem to allow me to change the connection type, its been quite awhile so i cant remember all the steps either way there must be a workaround besides having to call 3bb and wait and get lucky to have a tech who even understands what your trying to do so was wondering if anyone had any ideas. I am using the GPon AN5506-04-F if you look here there is no option to create a new or even delete or edit the existing connection. So not sure what I can do. http://prntscr.com/ozfhxt
taytee Posted August 30, 2019 Author Posted August 30, 2019 Nevermind, I read around on the forums a bit more seems like I may have to call them and they can remotely set the router to bridged mode then I can try it that way.
taytee Posted August 30, 2019 Author Posted August 30, 2019 Update: problem is fixed if anyone else has the same issue you can call 3bb and ask them to set the router to bridged mode then you can setup your other router, was pretty easy actually only took 5 minutes. 1 1
