Tourist arrivals in northeastern Loei province are projected to expand by 5 per cent next year from the 3.5 million expected this year, according to the Tourism Authority of Thailand’s Loei office.

Office director Kietipong Kochawong said tourist spending in Loei this year is expected to be around Bt10,000 per person.

Loei is reputed for its tourist attractions, rich culture and nice environment, with one of the main magnets being Phu Kradueng National Park.

True, but unfortunately Loei is also renowned for its lousy roads which make driving a nightmare!

I've been there on a motorbike. I thought the roads were OK? At least the ones I was on were. But I only stayed one night.

I’m forecasting my wife will give me money
