Bangkok, Thailand, September 2019 – Grenada, a famous West Indian island, is home to a population of 107,825 spirited and prideful islanders. Traditionally nicknamed the Spice Island, notably due to its numerous nutmeg and mace crop plantations, Grenada was originally a French colony, and then it was ceded to the British under the Treaty of Paris in 1763. Grenada gained independence in 1974. A stroll through the historic capital city of St. George boasts a flavorful journey of vibrant greetings, markets with tourists haggling prices, the heart-warming smiles of the locals, delicious meals at the water edge’s restaurants, and finally- the most beautiful harbor in the Caribbean Sea. Nowadays, Grenada became one of the sought-after destinations for the exotic-honeymooners as well as the rich and famous.

Like some neighboring Caribbean countries, the government officials of the Spice Island were searching for new ways to drive and stimulate growths and international investments into the tropical paradise, given their limited capacity to compete globally.  Due to the Caribbean region’s booming investment immigration industry, the country launched the Grenadian citizenship-by-investment (CBI) program in August 2013, where an investment is made to the country’s National Development Fund, or into a government-approved real estate project in exchange of attractive global mobility benefits, a lifetime Grenadian citizenship, and a well-recognized passport for the investor and qualifying family members. Over the years, the Grenada CBI took an upswing in increasing demands with its passport benefits; nevertheless, attracted the investments from collaborative partners Range Developments, Six Senses Resorts & Spa, and Harvey Law Group.

The project Six Senses La Sagesse Grenada was officially signed and approved on January 15, 2019 between Range Developments and the Grenada Government. Harvey Law Group (HLG) was appointed the strategic investor and exclusivity for Southeast Asia.

The 5-star luxury retreat is set on Grenada’s most prestigious beach, La Sagesse, an approximate 15 minutes-drive from the international airport. Amidst the unspoiled nature, the nestled resort among the crescent-shaped beach provides a gentle island sanctuary. The lined palm trees and the fascinating aqua blue provide an artistic blend to the picturesque beachfront – all accessible for Six Senses residences.

All 70 luxury villas feature private plunge pools and sea views.  The resort is mindfully designed with environmental ethos for modern comforts, all with sustainable and repurposed materials.  Dining at Six Senses La Sagesse will focus on true Caribbean ingredients of the freshest seafood and produce harvested from local farmers. A poolside pirate-inspired rum shack offers a bountiful list of refreshments and drinks. In true Six Senses style, Six Senses La Sagesse Spa offers specialty wellness treatments in classic Caribbean healing traditions, ensuring a heighten sense of the mind, body, and senses.

‘The Six Senses La Sagesse investor program is designed to enhance the lives of our investors. The investment will entitle the investor and their families to apply for a lifetime citizenship and a passport as a Grenadian, passable through generations. A share into the new and exclusive Six Senses La Sagesse is currently at USD 220,000 through a limited partnership structure, allowing the investor to take advantage of a 7-night complimentary stay annually at the resort and a conservative projected profit-share at 3-5% yield per annum,’ said Mr. Mohammed Asaria, CEO of Six Senses La Sagesse and Range Developments.

Range Developments is the most successful developer of luxury CBI real estate projects in the Eastern Caribbean such as the award-winning Park Hyatt St. Kitts, opened in 2017, and The Cabrits Resort and Spa Kempinski Dominica, set to open in 2019.

‘HLG is honored to play a major role in Six Senses La Sagesse. Our long-standing relations with Range Developments has spanned through a decade, hence creating trust and integrity within our partnership. HLG is confident in investing in this latest development, and have secured shares to offer to our esteemed clients and their families global mobility solutions,’ said Mr. Jean-Francois Harvey, Global Managing Partner of Harvey Law Group.

‘What most people are unaware is that the passport processing time is a matter of months and an investor only need to hold his Six Senses Sagesse share for 5 years before they can resell, get money back – if they want – and still keep their Grenadian citizenship. This exit strategy offers capital gain, income generation from the investment, and benefits of a strong passport. Should the investor decide to sell after the holding period, it is crucial to resell the share through authorized citizenship-by-investment agents,’ said Mr. Bastien Trelcat, Managing Partner of Harvey Law Group.

Established in 1992, HLG is one of the world’s leading investment immigration law firms to become an authorized agent duly representing all citizenship-by-investment programs in the Caribbean.

Six Senses La Sagesse Grenada has broken ground on August 23, 2019. A limited number of shares are available for investment. With the investment, a Grenadian passport holder can enjoy visa-free travel to over 140 countries, including China, Europe and Brazil,  and free from personal, income, and worldwide taxation. Grenada is the only Caribbean CBI program which offers investors the opportunity to apply for a USA E-2 visa. Investors are not required to fly, visit nor reside during or after the application process in order to secure the Grenadian passport.
