You are making your case worse by saying this. So democrats ask Germany(a foreign power) to investigate Trumps banking. But that is OK and normal? Democrats ask Chris Steele(a Brit) to compile a dossier to attack Trump. But that is OK and normal? Democrats have been talking with the Ukrainian govt desperate to dig up dirt on Trump, and that is OK and normal.

Your reference to Democrats and Steele is a great example

It was the rightwing supporting ‘Washington Free Beacon’ that initiated the contract with an American Private Investigation Company ‘Fusion GPS’ to investigate Trump.

(An American publication using its own private money to employ an American investigation company to investigate Trump).

That contract ended in May 2016.

 

The American Company Fusion GPS then touted their services to the DNC and Clinton Campaign.

 

This second contract to investigate Trump between the DNC/Clinton Campaign and the American Investigation Company Fusion GPS was established in June 2016 and was paid for by private ( not public) DNC/Clinton Campaign money.

 

During this contract the American Investigation Company Fusion GPS engaged the services of Steele - It was Fusion GPS that employed Steele, not the DNC, not the Clinton Campaign.

 

No public money was used, no government employees where engaged in any part of the investigation.

 

It was a wholly legal private investigation.

 

Not so Trump’s use of his office as President, the engagement of the US AG and Secretary of State in Trump’s corrupt attempt to smear Biden, all the while using US Federal resources and leveraging US foreign aid budgets.

 

Please, when Trump is removed from office for these crimes and he and those who aided his crimes are convicted and sentenced, do come back and at least acknowledge Trump’s crimes were explained to you.

Steele, the brit, was not a govt representative. So no cigar there.

 

The dems, as part of their constitutional investigation powers can ask whoever they want. It was an official investigation.

 

At the other end of the spectrum you have trump, with no investigation of biden by either congress or senate, asks a forign govt to investigate a political rival. 

 

If he has done nothing out of the ordinary then why is he refusing to let anyone testify and trying to drag it out.

 

But of course you see nothing wrong with it, unless its a dem doing it.
