Hi,

 

I own a property in a company name.

 

Now I have received what looks a property rental tax bill for the last 10 years!

 

This is a substantial amount!  They did not bother to invoice me annually, but are sending me a bill for the last 10 years.

 

I wonder if anybody else got this and what my options are. 

 

Any advice appreciated.

A friend of mine lived in his own place here and still got one of these bills, but it was for less than 10 years.

 

He had to pay it.

Yes, he was speechless also.  ????

We hold a 30 year lease (ten years used up) in a centrally located Bangkok condominium and had a back dated bill for a three year period about five years ago.
We had to pay it, it was buried in the fine print. Some of the lessors are still getting bills.
All have to pay them.
Some had paid and had to provide evidence of payment.
The head lessee is a big outfit and the lessor is as big as it gets.
