i got my tax id from pattaya 6 months ago. but now im living at koh phangan, suratthani. i need to file tax return on 2020 but i am confused can i do it at tax office in koh phangan (or nearest  one) or i should go pattaya back because i got my tax id in pattaya  tax office ?

I got my tax ID in bkk and did tax return at Phuket office so I don't think it matters.

Also due to some poor directions I tried doing my tax return at Phuket jail. That was a funny morning.

Samui tax office, or revenue office, is in Nathon opposite the new Seatran Pier (Street View map here)

 

2nd floor, go to left side when coming up (right hand is customs).
