I hope I am wrong but my guess is that there will be a reprisal attack on US soil sometime in the next month or two.

Should this happen, Trumps gloating will be, to some degree, responsible in part for such an attack.

I seem to recall that when Saddam Hussein was caught, "W" suggested not to gloat. And I don't recall Obama gloating after the bin Laden raid.

But a peacock is a peacock !

There have been and always will be attacks on US and non-muslim soil (Sri Lanka, Bali, Madrid, London, Nigeria, a loooong list, etc. .....)

It's not due to Trump's gloating. It's the pathetic ideology of an apocalyptic death cult that despises non-muslims, savagely oppresses women and executes homosexuals.

Yes and I don't imagine for one minute that the terrorist was "whimpering and crying" especially as he blew himself up.

It would mean that someone told lies to Mr. Trump,

or that Mr. Trump is lying.

Is that realistic?

It's called symbolic speech.

All humans before liberals have used it. It is a legal term in US law and even expressly protected by the constitution. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Symbolic_speech

Maybe pulling out of Syria was a 'ruse' to draw ISIS leadership out and destroy them?  Excellent work if that is the case and it sure sounds like it was the case.

By the way, if you look very closely you will see the difference in the media handling of the Bin Laden operation when Obama was POTUS and the Baghdadi operation now Trump is POTUS.  It is very subtle but if you really analyze it and look closely, you will be able to see a few things are very different. ????????  The MSM has TDS - this absolutely totally unrefutably proves it beyond any shadow of a doubt what so ever.

Yes, different. Obama said 'we', Trump said 'I'.

And a ruse, how do you make up things like that, very creative.

I agree. Obama blabbed about Osama until a lot of good people got killed. All to get re-elected. Remember O's poll numbers problem?

Trump never said "I" - that is Fake News

Trump suddenly withdraws from Syria and shortly after ISIS leaders killed.  Go figure.

It is an achievement but may not be as positive as everyone is hoping. As a result of his death, Isis may rejoin forces with Al Qaeda as the only reason for split up was  al-Baghdadi falling out with Al-Qaeda leader, Ayman al-Zawahir.

When you take out one head, another pops up and new one could be worse than the first one, if it is at all possible

The reason for denial could be and i say could be because Moscow noted that Islamic State was crushed in Syria in early 2018 in a joint effort by the government in Damascus and the Russian forces, meaning that yet another report of al-Baghdadi’s demise “bears no effect on the operational situation in Syria or on the actions of the remaining terrorists in Idlib.”

it seems trump can talk to a dog /as a dog was hurt in the explosion / when it chased and cornered the man and children /then again dogs understand each other ?

Well done Trump! My only criticism is that he may have given too much detail away during yesterday's gloat; assuming it wasn't deliberate.

'Rejoice in that news' as Maggie once said ????

Dogs are much nicer than Baghdadi and his fascist buddies.

Sorry but I distinctly, unarguably heard Trump say "I".

I respectfully disagree. The gloating is equivalent to encouragement.

Quite similar to the case of all the people whom once worked for Trump. After they depart (one way or another), he generally starts the grade-school-style name calling and defaming of them.

They then turn against him and expose his inadequacies in public. Best sometimes to just let it be. Name calling or gloating only makes him look like a fool and causes retaliation.

ISIS may be encouraged by his gloating.

No link available as I heard it on Television news.

You're adding words now ("I killed Baghdadi"). I was responding to the @stevenl response. There is no mention there of "I killed Baghdadi".

END of COMMENTS FOR ME ON THIS SILLY DISCUSSION.

Sorry but mainstream media calling the vile Al Baghdadi an "austere religious scholar" and writing a lengthy glowing tribute to him is encouragement. The outpouring of hatred and abuse against President Trump who has done more for peace and prosperity in the Middle East than the last dozen presidents combined, yes, that is encouraging the remnants of ISIS too. People ought to be ashamed of their behavior following this incredible result by Trump. Full credit is due to him, anything else is encouraging terrorists.

I'm sure that this wasn't his doing (but he will claim it was) Military intelligence have been working hard to get rid of him for years. Trump should be careful about using the word depraved, it could come back to bite him.

I would change that to “Despite”.

The president said he watched the operation unfold in the Situation Room of the White House.

Right there is a lie. Donald was out golfing during the raid.

Heck, even the situation photo op was staged as the photo was taken at 5pm ET yet the raid took place at 3:30pm ET.

Typical grandstanding from the WH administration.

Critics Question Authenticity of Situation Room Photo Showing Trump Watching Baghdadi Raid

According to Trump’s scheduled itinerary for Saturday, he arrived at Trump National Golf Club in Sterling, Virginia on Sunday morning. The presidential motorcade departed at 3:33 p.m. and Trump arrived at the White House’s North Portico entrance at 4:18 p.m.

These rag-tag mobs han no coherent system of electing a leader and just as this Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi came from nowhere soon, a successor will be found and don't be surprise if he will be even more cruel and deadlier than his predecessor just to prove himself...

Yeah, that is one possibility. It will perhaps maybe create rifts and internal fighting in the isis leadership. This could weaken isis. Hopefully.

Musi prayers

Still don't you understand that ISIS is a puppet created by USA deep state, Saudi Arabia, Israel, Qatar and Turkey?
All the "guerrillas" have been trained by these countries.
Al Baghdadi is an affiliate of the Ur Lodge Hathor Penthalpa and there are numerous photos of him along with John McCaine.
Al Baghdadi has simply been retired, perhaps to Miami lol

When I first read this story, I didn't read it properly. I was too busy jumping with ecstatic joy and happiness over this fantastic news:-

"He was a sick and depraved man and now he’s gone,”

It went on to say,

"The thug who tried so hard to intimidate others spent his last moments in utter fear, in total panic and dread, terrified of the American forces bearing down upon him," he said.

"He was a sick and depraved man, and now he's gone,"

Mr Trump died like a dog, he died like a coward."

And then I re-read it and felt depressed because I mis-read it.

Mr. Trump SAID, He died like....

I could have cried.

A DNA result in 15 minutes.... really?

Anyway, good job. ????

It almost seems as if some people are angry that Trump killed bag daddy

Are you sure it was Trump and not the armed forces?
