October 30, 20196 yr Began pouring in Sansai around 1:00 A.M., heavy winds, many tree branches down, etc. Rained very hard until around 4:00. It hit the roof so hard that it was impossible to sleep. Hopefully it will bring down the PM 2.5 levels which have been between 84 and 154 in San Phi Suea over the last two weeks.

October 31, 20196 yr Spectacular storm it was out here in Mae Rim...thrashing winds,lashing rain, monstrous displays of thunder & lightening. Storms of this intensity are usually expected pre-monsoon. A day and half later and the PM2.5 meter is still in the 'green' .Doi Luang,70km north, is visible from the back porch. At the moment blue sky and breezy....damn,times a wasting,I'm heading out for a cycle - Cao!
