125V bulb holders

Featured Replies

I bought half a dozen of these bulb holders from Home Pro which look to be weatherproof, though my idea was to connect them to an existing light point.

Whats throwing me is that when I removed the packaging there is a rating moulded into the rubber 15A 125V

Will they work or just burn out with 220V

Yeah, they'll be just fine, possibly a US import.

The amount of material (rubber) required to provide physical strength is much (much) more then is needed to insulate even at 220V.

Very sure you are fine. 15 AMPS is just huge considering that your average incandescent bulb will be less than one amp.
