My wife went back again tonight for an evening run, and reported the security guards were telling folks that bicycling was no longer allowed, even on the remaining open sections of the bicycle track there... Which apparently is now taken over by runners and joggers.

Was there in the morning. No cycles allowed in the park. Was directed to a new park on the opposite side where they have a temporary new cycling track. Lots of signs for the new track. Also all the yams showing you the way towards the new track. Nice as it is wider but a little short. I wonder why they have so many guards in a public park as I was directed towards the new track by at least 10 guys waving their arms very enthusiastically.

Actually, when the air outside is bad due to PM2.5, it's not going to be much different inside in air conditioned rooms. It's the same bad air as outside, just cooler because of the AC...  Gyms here a

Nope!  The air inside the gym comes in from outside... And air con units alone don't really do anything to reduce PM2.5 levels...

How is the airport area track riding experience these days?

How do you best get to it with a bike from the center of town, if you're not driving a car/truck/van?

Haven't been there in years, although it looks impressive from the air. Getting there is the problem. I used to own a folding bike, which were allowed on the airport link. Took the train to the airport, and from there it was just a short ride to the entrance of the bike lane. Doing 20 km plus loops (while watching the planes landing and taking off) is way better than the 2 km in Benjakitti.
