Baby dumped on the steps of a bank in Rawai, Phuket

On December 13, at about 4pm, Chalong police received a report about a baby found abandoned in front of Siam Commercial Bank, in Rawai.

 

At the scene, police found a baby boy with fair skin and appeared like a mix caucasian/Asian. The infant was crying but the witnesses who called police were trying to hold, comfort and feed the baby. The witnesses and the baby were escorted to Chalong police station. The people who found the baby told the police that they saw a couple fighting in front of the bank.

 

The man was western and the woman was Thai, which the witnesses believe were the parents of the baby. The man walked away before the woman put the baby down on the steps, in front of the bank, and then left the scene as well.

 

So the witnesses went to look after the baby and called the police.

 

Police sent the baby to Chalong Hospital for a checkup. The results indicate the baby boy is healthy and well. They also contacted Phuket children and family shelter, Ministry of Social Development and Human Security to pick up the baby for further care while the police look for the parents.

 

Chalong police are currently checking the CCTV camera footage to try and identify the woman who abandoned the baby in front of the bank and believe that they will find the couple soon.

 

A big thanks to the people who found the baby and contacted the police.

(Yeah, I know, Im stating the obvious)

So he said it not my baby, then she said not my baby anymore either? Kids off to a very bad start in life. Feel sorry.

Will probably get adopted by a better family and thus have a better life

The sad part of this story is that there are millions of couples all over the world that will give their right arm for a baby and here we have someone dumping a perfectly healthy child as if he was garbage... how cruel and heartless can you be to do that?...

Your not, I thought the same thing.... this could of ended in a very bad way.
The baby was found quickly before any harm could come to him, in the right hands now being taken care of.

Another couple that never should have been having a baby. You would at least assume that a foreigner had more of a logic reaction.

my GF and I have been trying for a year now we would have chersied the chance to care the the baby.

No doubt the police will find them I guess the bank have a good cctv outside and then name and shame them, I hope its nobody I know

Find arrest then prison!

This what happened.

the dad is from Italy, have new girlfriend (not the mother)

dad and new girlfriend have fight at the bank.

they both leave, without the baby

not come back.

the real mother family come from another province to get the baby.

he very cute.

So cute... father not return. How can?

3 month old

 

 

I bet his chu len, or nickname, will be "Bank", and he will be very successful in life.
