So you only found one other, the Maguire seven. Inextricably linked to the Guilford 4 and overturned for the same reason. Prima facie evidence that some amongst the group were guilty of the crimes but unable to establish which members of the group were involved. Appeal returned the verdict as "unsafe" not exactly "not guilty". I think that most people who had studied these cases would agree that they were as guilty as hell, the police just did a very poor job of building a case against them.

 

The only real miscarriage of justice was the Birmingham 6, caused by a corrupt West Midlands serious crime squad, who fitted up a number of others not just IRA supporters.

Yes,some innocent people in Thailand end up in jail, but its the same in all countries

It's a lot easier in Thailand to lock up innocent people with no jury trials though.

In other countries like Norway, we welcome them to serve their sentence in "hotels".  They might as well put up a "Welcome back" sign.
