No Certificate of Residency needed in Kanchanaburi

Featured Replies

Thought I would share my experience getting my Kawasaki KLX 150 registered with green book today at the Kanchnanburi Land transport office. Earlier, went to local immigration office to do my TM 30, and get a certificate of residency. Was told I did not need one, just my passport, and the receipt of the TM 30. They were right, the people did not ask for one, just the paperwork the dealer gave me, and my passport and TM 30 copy. Walked out in 40 minutes with green book, and plate.

Thanks for the report...I'd guess there aren't many provinces where you don't require a "certificate of residence",yellow book or work permit to show your address.
