Will enter Thailand upon 30 day visa on arrival as I am Swedish. Will then leave in a few days and then re enter after about 3 weeks. I assume there will be no problem to get a new visa on arrival or will I run into problems?

You do not need or get a visa on arrival if Swedish.You get a visa exempt entry.

 

Leaving and reentering after 3 weeks in itself not a problem unless you have had a large number f entries and stayed a long time in the past year.

You will be stamped in for 30 days visa exempt. 

An alternative to exit country and obtain a second visa exempt is to attend immigration office and obtain an extension of 30 days. Yes costs 1900baht but no need exit Thailand. Zero problem with this

You always give good advice, but here he clearly stated he have to leave. So, he has no option.

Thank ypu. But I must leave for a few weeks and then come back so I will then get anotther visa exempt.

Yeah. I was thinking he maybe was not aware that visa exempt 30 can be extended at imm. Hence he was thinking he had to leave to obtain another visa exempt 30.

However, yes perhaps he wants a trip out for whatever reason.
