Hi looking for a bit of advice in dating a thai woman in the uk , I'm 46 and I bumped into a beautiful thai women in the supermarket , she is 40 but looks around 25 - 30 ???? she has lived in the uk for 20 years , she is divorced and 18 year old daughter , she works part time as a chef and mobile nail technician,  we have been on a few dates for drinks,  meals , cinema etc and things are going well , been back to her house a few times , cooked me dinner , kissed and cuddled on sofa , she is quite sexually forward and says she enjoys being dominant in bed , handcuffs , whips , dressing up in leather/ pvc , high heels etc is this normal for thai women I thought they were more reserved and submissive? Daughter is at university in another city , too young for me anyway,  yeah she suggested being intimate on the 2nd date , I have said no I prefer bit of a chase and challenge , I'm a bit old fashioned and like the wining/ dining part of a courtship .

Yeah I searched the net looking for advice for dating a thai lady and came across this site , never spoken or dated to a thai lady before , was looking for advice on dating a independent westenised thai woman

No, this is not normal for Thai women.  I don't think it's even normal for Thai BGs.

Sorry if I got my phrase wrong,  was just trying a make a distinction between someone living in a western country for a long time rather than someone who has never left thailand , a lot of advice seems to be aimed at meeting thai women in thailand , but that's not the case in my situation

Sounds a bit too good to be true lol. But she HAS been in the UK a long time, so I'm not too surprised. Get her face photo and do an image search on google. See if she pops up anywhere. Tat may be telling. If nothing comes up, I'd go for it:)

Maybe this is your friend's ex. A picture in those heals and spandex would soon sort that out.

Just go with it, you do not have the problem of meeting in Thailand and going through the visia problems etc... Enjoy and treat it like any other date regardless to what country they come from, take your time before you move in togeather. Like 2 or 3 years.
