Economy Thailand Rejects 0% Tax Deal with US, Cites Risk to Local Farmers
Wonder whether switching to carnaroli risotto rice might be more profitable. Still rice, so same expertise but has high price. The major cost would be transport to markets in Europe, specifically Italy. Might be more profitable. -

Israel leveling Gaza
Haven`t found any official figure confirming your number. All still claim 6 Million. Even if it was - using the word "only" would be an abomination - 1,6 Million, it would not make it any better. When analyzing the Holocaust unflinching examination and unsparing honesty was the only way to come to terms with our past but also understanding how that could ever happen in order to avoid anything like that for all times. NEVER AGAIN! I always thought, that counts for every people, race or religion. Obviously I was wrong. For our politicians it seems to be "Never again to the Jews .... but when it comes to other people ... like Palestinians ... well ... let`s not make hasty promises,." Bastards! Should all be prosecuted in the Hague. I hope future Israelis will apply the same level of uncompromising honesty when it comes to analyze their mass murder in Gaza, but one thing is clear already: Germany will be exposed as a part of it. Damned Nazis are not back - they just never left. -

Japan just got their tariffs lowered to 15%
President Biden didn't attempt to plunge the world into a recession. Neither did he treat the office of the POTUS as an opportunity for grifting. He also put grownups in positions of power instead of those who's tongue could reach the farthest up his butt. He also treated allies with respect and enemies got the cold shoulder - exactly opposite of how Trump acts. I could go on and on here but you get my drift, I'm sure. -
