I have checked google and the links there are not very satisfactory, also am aware of "Live Net Tv" and "Live Lounge" apps that show Thai Tv channels but Live Net does not have all the channels and Live Lounge Thai channels do not work at all ??. Can anyone advise of any other suitable apps that I can check out ?? thanks for any assistance to keep the wife happy !!!!!

Try looking for the major Thai SAT/CABLE and MOBILE PHONE carriers, each have streaming apps that work in-country.  If you are currently outside of Thailand then these won't work.

I just checked and the Thai channels are working. A few pop up ads to navigate through but it works, for now anyway. 

Not sure if you can download on your TV, however, you can download to an android phone/device and then mirror to you TV.

Marvel Emby has Thai Channels as I had it on my Firestick until we all lost our 'special' deal and my and other friends sticks got wiped out.

Rebooted mine, but did not reload that one.

Try this one, much better than Loox and works abroad as well.
