Can I send Mommy some masks?

My mom (in USA) says she can't find any more masks, and she wants me to send her masks from Thailand.

 

Given the current state of affairs, am I even allowed to send masks in a package from Thailand to USA ?   This wouldn't be an industrial-sized shipment or anything. Let's say 10-20 washable cloth masks and 50-60 one-time-use masks.    Is this okay, or would it lead to some public health swat team kicking down my door?

I think it's still surface-only to the US, by the time she gets them the market will be flooded.

 

Best to download patterns from the net and sew up some of her own (or get a neighbour to).

I just found this on Amazon she can have them delivered in a few days (4/24-4/25 )

t-shirt folded over face is likely to work better than that mask. the ones with paper towels are actually pretty effective, cloth with filter inserts work well also.

I've been utilising a welders face shield during lockdown.  It's quite fashionable, too.
