Sovereign immunity. A state could take a case to the Supreme Court directly but it would have to involve a conflict of Constitutional issues.

We already have an overly litigious nation as it is. This is going nowhere. However it could be a good way to get more Americans to hop on the "bleep" China bandwagon. I see this more as a tactic of using the media than any actual chance of winning a case.

Criticizing China and the US government isn't mutually exclusive. Although the left want to pretend it is. Just like they want to pretend criticizing China is racist.

It is the left that is criticising both China and the US government, it is the right that is defending Trump because it was all China's and the WHO's fault.
