Places for excercise Phaya Thai, Ari or Morchit areas?

Featured Replies

I'll be returning to Bangkok in a few days and my condo pool and gym is still closed. Does anyone know good places or parks open for walking in the Phaya Thai, Ari or Morchit areas? I was think of trying Chatchak Park as it's only 25 minutes walk there for me. Anyone know if it's open or can you recommend anywhere else away from traffic?

A friend of mine told me that the gym and pool are closed in our condo in Bangkok, outdoor sports are also prohibited, it is better to check if your flight is in progress or if you can enter Thailand,

You're officially not allowed to exercise in parks.

Parks are closed until May 1. But yeah, when they reopen, the Chatuchak / Suan Rot Fai parks are great. It's actually three fairly large parks separated by nothing but a couple of narrow roads that you can easily hop across. If you consider the three as one big park (which they basically are), I believe it's the largest contiguous green space in Bangkok.
