Friend has a fishing park , has 2 ponds , one is for the angling and the other 5 rai pond is for the filler pond . He is set up with 4 solar panels that are each 12 volts and 100 watts . He had them connected to a submersible 12 volt dc water bilge pump that delivered 4700 gallons a hour . However the Lazada pump worked well to start with but then let in water to the electrics after 3 months , was replaced with the same make bilge pump which again broke down after an even shorter time . Pump was 2700 baht Lazada .

Crossy , can you or any other reader come up with a solution , either a centrifugal pump possibility or a decent brand named solar pump . The pumps are for maintaining the water levels which drop a couple of inches every day in this weather , not a problem in the rainy season .

2 weeks ago the water dropped very low and I got a Thai guy with an iron buffalo that drove an Archimedes screw and filled the pond after about 24 hours of pumping but the levels are dropping noticeably . Hope you can help .

Thanks ,

               Alan
